Welcome, friend!
The From-Home Fest is an annual, cozy, now 2-week-long (!) festival of online, telephone and by-mail theatre -- in other words, theatre meant to be experienced FROM HOME!
The Fest celebrates the theatrics that blossomed at the start of the pandemic...shows that bravely and playfully expand the definition of "theatre;" welcome artists and audiences who may be unable to physically go to a theater; and surprise us with an experience of real human connection.
WE PROUDLY HOST ARTISTS WITH DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS, BODIES, BRAINS, IDENTITIES AND LOVES.
Thank you for your playful bravery as you engage with these innovative shows.

We are thrilled to have The Fest featured in a No Proscenium "Coming Soon" interview, as well as in a Boston Globe article in honor of our 3rd year! Read about the Fest's beginnings as well as some of the aims, questions and hopes of our artists and artistry...between your Fest shows!
It's the end of the world and you feel fine because you are one of the world's last surviving billionaires! Sure, there are rules to this game, but they don't apply to you because you have already won!

Singing their original music about what love means to them, Miah opens up their heart and pours out their soul. This is of course very brave and Miah is very humble to admit this. It's hard to miss just how in love they are because they're blushing right across the bridge of their nose, tee hee! For, as we all know, love is queer. Winner

We are proud to share that this festival is supported in part by the Maryland State Arts Council (msac.org)!
The Fest was created after Tia went through a cancer battle during the early Covid pandemic, and theatre-from-home (often by the artists listed above!) helped get her creative heart through.

On Nov. 21st, 2025, we hosted a Variety Show on Zoom to fund artist stipends for the next From-Home Fest. These lovely artists donated their time and talents to the evening, and a hilariously engaged audience purchased tickets to hang out with us. There was live drawing, a PowerPoint presentation, joyful singing, a watch trick, an experiment in tangents, group movement and gentle explorations, and cat ennui. It was fantastic, and we hope to make it an annual happening.
